Pat was testing a few prototypes to get them dialed in, and this is the frame he always wanted. As the king of the freecoaster and fakie variations, he aptly named it Reversal.
This one-of-a-kind frame features graphics designed by Pat and his family, brought to life by Kevin Peraza’s wife, Itsel. Kevin had the opportunity to take the first ride on a Reversal, and he knew he had to do it at Pat’s house. Reid was excited to see the new frame in action and can’t wait to build up his own.
The specs are all Pat too, with a 20.75” top tube, 13” chainstays, a 75.5º head tube angle, and a 71º seat tube angle. It also features a sealed bearing mid bottom bracket and an integrated sealed bearing headset. The Reversal weighs just over 5 lb.
There are even more features to this frame. With 4130 chromoly construction throughout, it also features internal gussets on the top tube and external gussets on the down tube for reinforced durability. There’s an integrated seat clamp and dent-resistant chain stays. Removable brake hardware lets you set it up how you like, and an integrated chain tensioner in the dropouts makes centering your wheel a piece of cake.
While it’s way more than capable of being built up into your dream freestyle bike, the Reversal is just as good displayed on the wall as a tribute to the king of the freecoaster himself. Pat Casey Forever!
