Mongoose supports the global generosity movement, #GivingTuesday, as we believe bikes are a powerful tool to promote positive change in the world. In this spirit, we’ve been doing our part to give back to some important causes.
Last month, Mongoose launched Pat Casey's signature frame – Reversal – and thanks to an amazing response from the global BMX community, the frames SOLD OUT on launch day! For each frame that sold Mongoose committed to donating $100 to the Casey family, so we're happy to report that we'll be cutting a check to the family this month.
Pat's wife Chase Casey had this to say about the launch: "We're (the Casey family) just so appreciative of how amazing the BMX community is, and we thank everyone for all the support.” We at Mongoose couldn't have said it any better.
A few weeks prior to the Reversal launch, Mongoose had a unique opportunity to give back to teenagers in the Phoenix area thanks to a partnership between Boys & Girls Club of the Valley, USA BMX Foundation, McAnally-Hilgemann Racing, professional NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series (NCTS) driver Jack Wood, and Swire Coca-Cola.
Mongoose BMX pros Cam Wood and Mason Hayes visited the Boys & Girls Club – Littleton Branch to team up with Jack Wood to speak with local teens about topics like healthy habits, work ethic, and skills required in life and BMX and motorsports. And during the visit, each teen was surprised with the gift of their very own Mongoose Rebel RS1 BMX bike and Rebel helmet. Needless to say they were stoked!
Mongoose encourages fans to give back in any way they can on #GivingTuesday. Your help will make a world of difference for those in need.
